NOVEMBER 02 – MAN, WHERE ARE YOU?

 

In this episode of 2 Empower U, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach talks about Man – how man can find his place in God, how man can become a positive influence to their children and loved ones, and how man can help transform their homes into an encouraging and empowering place. It is about how man can find his purpose in our world.

Man in the Garden of Eden

 

“Eden is not a place. It is an environment, an atmosphere; the presence of God.”

Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach talks about the Garden of Eden, its true meaning and what it represents. The Pastor also shares God’s five gifts to man: the presence of God, work, creation and cultivation, the ability to protect and guard, and God’s Word. It is man’s responsibility to ensure that he uses God’s gifts in ways that benefit not only himself but everyone around him, especially his family and loved ones.          

 

“The most important thing that man needs is the presence of God. So, woman, when you meet a man, you should meet him in the presence of God.”

God created man for His presence. So, man should make God’s presence a priority in his life.

 

“God gave man work. He took man and put man in the Garden of Eden to dress it and keep it. God gave man work before he gave him a woman.”

Man should know his responsibilities before he goes out to explore, and man should do his work well. God wants man to learn the value of work. His message to man: work first before woman.

 

“God told man: cultivate and bring out the best in everything around you.”

Man should bring out the best in his children, his wife, and in everyone and everything around him. Man should help woman become the best of what she’s supposed to be.

               

 “Man’s words have powers because they are coming from the Almighty God.”

God said: “Love your wife like I love my wife (the Church)….wash her with the Word, then remove every spot, wrinkle, and blemish.”

God encourages you to CULTIVATE what you don’t like. Show your wife and loved ones that you care.  Work with them. Give them the best so you can have the best – and all of them are God’s gifts to you.

 

“God wants man to guard the garden and protect everything under his care.”

God made man to protect his wife, sons, and daughters. Women should be able to lean on men.

 

“We, men, must stand at attention when God gives his commands to us. We should also have humility of heart. Real men don’t make up excuses; we own it. We do everything to make it right.”

Women, encourage your men to correct what they need to correct. Allow them to own their mistakes and help them make things right.

 

Men, do not allow things to get out of control. Share the Word of God to your wife, to all your loved ones in the family. The man, as the head of the household, is responsible for teaching the Word of God. Only then will the family become completely happy and satisfied.

 

Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach is telling you that it is not good for man to be alone. But, if the man in your life does not have God’s presence in him, does not have a job, is not cultivating and protecting you; if he is not teaching you the Word of God….he should be alone.
