Transition – September 13, 2021
Transition – refers to a process or period of changing from one state or condition to another.
Good day, everyone! Today is the 2nd Monday of September and in today’s episode of 2 Empower U, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will be talking about transition.
When you hear the word transition, what’s the first thing that comes to your mind? Change? Movement? Passage? Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will tell you that it is all those three combined. Transition is change when something starts in one condition and transforms into another. Transition is movement when one moves from one place or set to another. And transition is passage when something has ended and another one is starting.
The Kind of Transition You Need
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will share with you the reasons why transition should be something you shouldn’t be afraid of. Transition means God is working gradually to prepare you for something better.
“To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”
- Ecclesiastes 3:1
The pastor will tell you that there are reasons for every transition you go through. Likewise, there is a perfect time for everything. So, your transition can be slow or it can be fast; it all depends on your desire and vision…..and God’s wonderful plans for you. God has a purpose for you.
Pastor Thomas will also explain to you what it means to “move when God is moving and slow down when God is slowing down.”
The Lord is Always With You
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach assures you that as you go through transitions in your life, the Lord will stay with you. He will never forsake you. In Joshua 1:9, the Lord says:
“Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”
You also have to have the right vision.
“The Lord answered me and said: write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it, for the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
- Habakkuk 2: 2-3
