MY SPIRIT KNOWS ALL THINGS – SEPTEMBER 26, 2022
“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”

Hello, everyone! Happy Monday! On this last Monday of the month, here on 2 Empower U, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will be sharing with you his insights and experiences on how the spirit knows all things. The Spirit of God. Spiritually. Learning how to be spiritual. How can you be spiritual in such a carnal world? These are the things that the pastor will talk about today.
“The number one thing you have to do to be spiritual is to spend time with God.”

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
- 1 Corinthians 2:14
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will talk to you about how some people react when they hear you or someone else talk about God – and the Spirit of God, and how their actions (or reactions) explain their “foolishness”. Why do some people who often say they are spiritual react differently when someone talks to them about God? Why do they stare blankly at you? Why don’t they want to hear you talk about God? Pastor Thomas will help you understand these.
“It’s one thing to have the Holy Spirit with you; it’s another to be filled with it.”

You need to be filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. Pastor Thomas will tell you why it’s not enough to say “I have been changed”, or “I am a different person”, or “I have been born again”.
The pastor will also help you understand why talking about God or preaching does not require “enticing words of man’s wisdom”; how talking about Him should depend on your faith and in the power of God

Preach what the Bible says; not what you read from other books or what you hear on TV or the radio.
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will also want you to say this with utmost sincerity; this shall be your daily affirmation:
“I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will sing with the spirit, and I will also sing with the understanding.”

GOD IS ABOUT TO TAKE YOU UP – SEPTEMBER 19, 2022
“When the LORD was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way frcm Gilgal. Elijah said to Elisha, ‘Stay here; the LORD has sent me to Bethel.’ But Elisha said, ‘As surely as the LORD lives and as you live, I will not leave you.’ So they went down to Bethel.”

Good Monday, everyone! It’s Monday once again and here on 2 Empower U, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will talk to you about what it means when God is about to take you up.
The pastor will help you realize that God has someone who will always be with you; someone who will never leave you, just like how Elisha stayed with Elijah. God has someone who will always stick with you – one who is committed and faithful to you. The pastor explains how God sends these people to you when you are ready or when it is your turn to lead.
Gilgal is the place of separation. It means rolling or roll away.
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach looks at the place of separation as the place of disconnection, which is something that you need to go through so you can hear the voice of God. There are times when you have to disconnect yourself from the “carnal” world. The pastor will help you understand why Gilgal is an essential factor in your life.
The pastor will also explain what it means to be in the “House of God”, which is what Bethel is – the place where Elijah and Elisha went to. Pastor Thomas will give you insights what it means to be in the presence of the Lord.
“For we walk by faith; not by sight.”

What does it mean to walk by faith? The pastor will talk to you about this through the story of Elijan and Elisha and how they went to Jericho.
“Jericho is the place where we walk by faith, so our faith can take over.”

Elijah and Elisha also went to Jordan, which represents death and resurrection, and Pastor Thomas will share his insights about this. Why is Jordan an important destination? Why is it a place of significance?
