Monday Oct 26, 2020
Today is the last Monday of October 2020 and here on 2 Empower U, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will be talking about how important it is to obey Jesus. It may be a simple thing for some, but there are many out there who do not really understand what being obedient to God means.
BLESSINGS FOLLOW OBEDIENCE
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will share with you the story of the disciples fishing exactly one week after Jesus’ resurrection. He uses the story to illustrate the blessings that you can reap when you follow Jesus; when you listen to God.
“They are professional fishermen, and they have no idea who this stranger is. But for some unknown reason, they take out the nets and throw them into the water on the other side of their boat. And the Bible says, ‘When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.’ The Bible says, ‘Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, ‘It is the Lord!’”
- Excerpts from John 21: 1-14
“God will create miracles for you if you are willing to get involved in the process.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to understand that what the disciples experienced often happens to us – to you. There are times when you won’t know what to do; instances when you’ll run out of options. Instead of losing hope and saying, “I’ve done everything that can be done. Nobody can help me because I’m the only one who knows how to do this”, listen to Jesus. Obey God. He knows the answers….always. You only have to listen.
God says, “We’re not TRYING to do this, we are going TO DO THIS.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
When the Lord is talking; He’s not giving suggestions – He’s giving commands.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to understand that it’s important to be WILLING and OBEDIENT.
Love yourself. Learn to say YES to God. When you obey God, it’s gonna revive your heart. Submit to the will of God.

Monday Oct 19, 2020
On this 3rd Monday of October, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will talk to you about wisdom and success. What does wisdom mean to you? How can it help you become better? What about success? How important it is for you to be successful? How can you be successful in your relationship with God?
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her.”
- Proverbs 4:7-8
ON WISDOM
Wisdom is the ability to recognize difference – God’s decisions and ours: Who to honor and how to honor; what to learn about and what you shouldn’t learn about.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will briefly discuss with you the significance of wisdom. He wants to help you realize why wisdom is essential if you want to achieve success. He also wants you to know how accepting and allowing Jesus to become a part of your life can help you become prosperous.
The Pastor also discusses the value of principles. How can principles help you live the life you want to live?
“The person of Jesus creates your peace, but the principle of Jesus creates your prosperity.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Likewise, Pastor assures us that we need each other because:
“You only need to know what you need for your purpose in life.”
-Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Get the right amount of wisdom for what you need in life.
THE MEANING OF SUCCESS
In this podcast, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach shares his ideas and understanding about success. For him, success is not a place but an experience.
“Success is the obtaining of a worthwhile goal.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach also encourages you to share your goal – or goals – for the next few months; for next year.
KNOW YOUR GOALS
Write down your goals….The ones that are connected to your purpose. This is what Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to understand. Goals are vital, but you must be sure what yours are – and know how to achieve those goals.
He also wants you to know how important it is to finish what you started. You should be a STARTER and a FINISHER.
Know your goal. Make your goals so big that you never look back….because God is BIG. He will help you achieve your goals if you allow Him to do so.
INSPIRE YOURSELF
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to know how important it is to inspire yourself. You shouldn’t wait for others to inspire you; to do things for you. If you need something, you should know that you have everything you need inside of you. You only need to have FAITH – in yourself and in God.
Inspiration is the process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
“And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: BUT DAVID ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD HIS GOD.”
- 1 Sam 30:6
Lastly, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach assures you that GREATNESS IS INSIDE OF YOU. So, talk to yourself and build yourself up – and you’ll soon be on your way to success.

Monday Oct 12, 2020
Monday Oct 12, 2020
Monday Oct 12, 2020
Today’s discussion on 2 Empower U with Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach is all about FAITH. What is faith? What does “having faith” mean to you? Are you aware that there are various degrees of faith? There’s what you call a “measure of faith”, a “proportion of faith”, and “according to faith”.
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will help you find “where your faith is” and how you can use your faith to please God…
“Without faith, it is impossible to please the Lord.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
VARYING DEGREES
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will share with you the eight varying degrees of faith. While doing so, he asks you to do a self-examination. What kind of faith do you have?
Level 1 - No faith
Are you one of the Christians living in fear and without faith? Are you one of those who feel they’re always defeated? Are these reasons why you have no faith?
“How is it that you have no faith?”
- Marhk 4:40
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to know that:
“You have to build your faith. When the enemy can see that you have no faith, he can pounce on you. When you have no faith, you can’t trust God.”
Level 2 – Little Faith
Having little faith is better than having no faith at all. But, you can build it up so you can have more and you reach out to God. Build your faith in God.
“O, ye of little faith.”
- Matthew 8:26
Level 3 – Weak Faith
“Him that is weak in the faith, receive ye….”
- Rom 14:1
Some Christians are still in the process of discovering faith – and the power of God. These are the people who are weak in faith. They aren’t strong yet. Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to know that your opinions are not a sign of faith, especially faith in God. They’re just opinions; they don’t guarantee that you have faith and a real relationship with God.
But if you want to be strong and mature in your relationship with God, build your faith. Make it stronger. Make it secure in God.
Level 4 – Dead Faith
Genuine faith brings forth action.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Does your faith need to be resuscitated? Is your faith genuine? You’ll know your faith is alive and genuine when you see results. Faith is alive and genuine when you are doing what you are supposed to do; when you do not rely on waiting for God to do something for you – you do your part as a Christian.
Show people that God is in your life. This is what faith is all about.
Level 5 – Vain Faith
Vain = empty
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach asks you: “Do you believe that Jesus died and was resurrected?” Or do you have to see to believe? If you’re one of those who say, “Let me see what you’re talking about first, give me a proof, and then I will believe”, your faith is empty. It does not produce any result for you and for God.
1 Corinthians 15:14
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
“Live by faith. My faith can take care of me.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Level 6 – Historical Faith
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach helps you understand that historical faith is believing in something that they didn’t see happen. Compare this with people who do not believe in God because they cannot see Him, and it’s going to confuse you. How can you believe in historical figures like Martin Luther King or Abraham Lincoln and not believe in God?
Historical faith is what we know about the past and events that we know actually happened.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Level 7 – Saving Faith
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
- Acts 16:31
Saving faith is faith that the Bible teaches us. Saving faith is about believing in God and in His promise of protecting and saving us.
Believe that Jesus died for you. Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and you will be saved.
Saving faith is: God telling you to continue your journey despite the challenges that may go your way. God is telling you He’s there for you. Just hold on to your faith and in Him and you’ll overcome every burden that challenges you.
Level 8 – Victorious Faith
“And this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
- 1 John 5:4
If you are a true Christian, a child of God, you have faith in Him. You believe in His promise, in the rewards He will give you as you continue to pray and have faith.
God says “put your faith in my power” and you can overcome anything. There is nothing that the enemy can throw at you that you cannot overcome.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
You are victorious. You are victory. God is your victory.
KEEP YOUR FAITH!

Your Problems are God’s Blessings – October 05
Today, the first Monday of October, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach and 2 Empower U will focus on problems. Not on particular problems per se, but on how we respond to the challenges that come our way.
The problems you face will either defeat or develop you. This is what Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will discuss with you. How is it that most of us look at the problems that God gives us as a curse? Why do you resent problems?
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to know that God uses problems to bring good things to your life. How you respond to these problems will determine their effect on you and your life.
“God doesn’t bring problems; He provides opportunities.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
DIRECTION
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to understand that problems are God’s way of pointing you to a new direction and encouraging you to accept consider changes and opportunities. Every problem you encounter should not discourage you; instead, it should motivate you – to believe and trust in God, because He knows the right path for you.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.”
- Proverbs 3:5-6
GOD USES PROBLEMS TO DIRECT YOU.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
INSPECTION
What do your problems reveal about you? Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach knows each one of us deal with our problems in different ways. Some of us lock ourselves in the room. Some prefer to hide inside the closet, while others want to just have fun and forget their problems.
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to know that God uses your problems to inspect you. He uses problems to examine your character and faith. God tests you because He expects something from you.
“When you have many kinds of troublers, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience.”
- James 1:2-3
GOD USES PROBLEMS TO INSPECT YOU.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
CORRECTION
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to realize that often, you only learn to acknowledge the value of something after you lose it. He also wants you to know that, most often, you’ll learn lessons only after you’ve gone through failure and pain. God uses situations like this, such as when you have problems, to correct you and teach you the value of something. He corrects you because He loves you.
“It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn statutes.”
- Psalm 119:71
GOD USES PROBLEMS TO CORRECT YOU.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
“The valley is there so that when you get to the mountaintop, you can appreciate it.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
PROTECTION
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good.”
- Genesis 50:20
A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from getting into serious harm. Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to understand that God allows things to happen for a reason – and this reason is to protect you. He knows what is best for you – and this is how He protects you.
GOD USES PROBLEMS TO PROTECT YOU.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
PERFECTION
God is far more interested in your character than your comfort – and this is what Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to understand. God gives you problems to help you grow in character. You become more patient, stronger, and more faithful. God gives you problems to help you grown your relationship with Him.
“We can rejoice when we run into problems….they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally, our hope and faith are strong.”
- Romans 5:3-4
GOD USES PROBLEMS TO PERFECT YOU.
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
God has your best interest in His heart. He is at work in your life. All you have to do is trust Him.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
- Mark 9:23
Today is the last Monday of September. Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach has prepared a special 2 Empower U podcast for everyone, and this one is all about asking, seeking, and knocking; something that you probably learned when you were younger. However, Pastor Thomas has some new realizations that he wants to share with you.
“And Jesus, looking upon them saith, with men, it is impossible; but not with God: for with God, all things are possible.”
- Mark 10:27
The Pastor shares that there are no impossibilities with God.
The Will of God
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach emphasizes the importance of knowing and understanding the will of God. It is essential for you to know what God wants to do in your life – what He has in store for you.
Ask
The Pastor encourages you to speak up and ask. But you must ask according to your understanding of the will of God. Then you must believe that what you asked for will be given to you.
“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
- John 15:7
Seek
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to know what spirit-led search is all about. He also wants you to realize that you need to pay attention and listen to the Holy Spirit so you will know what you should seek.
“But seek first His kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
- Matt 6:33
If you know God’s will and have asked for His guidance, you already know what you have to seek for.
Knock
Pastor Thomas will give you this advice: “You must knock.” When you knock, the door shall be opened to you. He will also tell you about importunity – what it means and how it can help you find what you are asking, seeking, and knocking for.
“Knocking is action; God won’t do your knocking for you. God won’t ask for you and He won’t seek for you, so this is not all up to Him!”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Pastor Thomas’ final message: Ask, seek, knock.

Monday Sep 21, 2020
It’s the 3rd Monday of September and today, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach has prepared a special 2 Empower U episode. He will be talking about the things that you must stop doing in order to be led by God’s spirit. The Pastor has five things you have to stop doing if you want God’s spirit in you. He’s also going to discuss some essential factors that can help you understand in full how it is to live spiritually.
“I am a spirit. I possess a soul. I live in a body.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Stop Following A Culture That Does Not Follow God
“Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. If it’s legal, it must be moral; if everybody is doing it, then it must be okay.”
-Exodus 23:2
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach explains why you should “love the people and hate the culture” if you want God’s spirit to reside in you; if you want to be spiritual. Your focus should be on what is right. The Pastor points out several reasons why following God should be your priority.
“You can’t follow the culture, just follow God.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Stop Following Friends Who Aren’t Led by God
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will discuss why you should listen more to God than to your friends. He wants you to know that no matter how good a friend is, he or she has an agenda, a reason for establishing a friendship and a connection with you. The Pastor also encourages you not to give in on peer pressure because it can also hinder God from reaching out to you.
“Dear children, do not let anyone lead you the wrong way. Christ is righteous. So, to be like Christ, a person must do what is right. Anyone who keeps on sinning is being led by the devil.”
- 1 John 3:7
Stop Looking At Other Sources Not Led by God
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to know that the best source of information is God – His words. You have to stop looking for and using sources that are not from and by God. The Pastor cites examples of people praying and talking to God and then immediately going to the opposite direction after praying.
“Many people want a future but do not want God in their life.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
The Pastor wants you to keep looking at God; to keep focusing on Him.
Stop Allowing Circumstances to Lead You
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to stop saying, “I did not get the job; it must be God’s will for me.” You should not allow your circumstances to stop you, to dictate your actions and your life. According to the Pastor, relying on circumstances will not do you any good, particularly if you are in a challenging situation. He will then share with you an enlightening story about Paul and his men sailing the stormy seas.
“When you are led by the Spirit, you are able to discern situations. You are able to see things that other folks cannot see.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
You need to walk closely with God every day.
Stop Allowing Your Feelings to Lead You Away From God
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach wants you to realize that feelings are temporary. So, do not allow your feelings to lead you. The Pastor wants you to keep in mind that the only confirmation you should seek for is the one coming from the Holy Spirit. Your focus should be on God, not on your temporary feelings.
“You can trust the word of God.”
Finally, the Pastor has a challenge for you: start acknowledging God in everything you do.

Monday Sep 14, 2020
In today’s 2 Empower U, Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will be talking about what’s on your mind. What are you thinking about? He will focus on helping you filter your thoughts, so that only the good ones remain and all your thoughts and worries will be forgotten. The Pastor will tell you what God wants you to think about; to focus on. He will reveal how God wants your thoughts to be filled with all things pure, good, beautiful, and worthy of praise.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
- Philippians 4:8-9
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach also stresses the importance of mental health, particularly in these challenging times.
“We gotta think about what we are thinking about. And anything that is negative, anything that is not of God, anything that will discourage us, any weeds in our garden, we’ve got to pull it up.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
The Pastor also gives you several helpful tips on how to get a “winner’s mindset”.
Understanding the Brain and the Mind
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach discusses the distinct qualities and the differences of the brain and the mind. He will explain to you how valuable each one is to the other; that they function and somehow co-exist. He compares the brain and the mind to your computer’s hardware and software.
“The brain is the hardware and the mind is the software.”
He then continues to remind you of the importance of learning how to control your mind – or what you think.
What Is TRUE
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will now give you tips on what to think about; starting with focusing on what is true. He will explain the concept of TRUE (the truth, reality) and ask you to think about what is true for you. If God is true to you, then think of how wonderful it is that God is in your life.
“Truth is complete. It never changes. And God never changes. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
What is HONEST or HONORABLE
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach encourages you to focus on what is honest and honorable in a person or in a situation. He guarantees you that focusing on the bad will only bring in problems. The Pastor also tells you how important it is to ask for guidance so you will know whether you’re dealing with an honest, honorable person or a fake one.
“If something or someone is honorable, it/he deserves our attention and respect.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
He will also let you know that whatever you think about a person, an object, or a situation will manifest because it is the reality that your mind painted. In other words, what you think and believe in, your mind will conceive.
What is RIGHT or JUST
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach uses the story of Job in helping you understand the value of choosing what is right or just. He also emphasizes how it is imperative for you to do what is right and what is just, particularly in the eyes of God.
Think only of what is right and what is just and God will be with you and in you. Remember, too, that what you think about will become your reality.
“Walk in righteousness, not religion.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
What is PURE
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will give you pointers on how to be pure in heart and mind, so it will be easy for you receive your inheritance the Kingdom of Christ and God.
“For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person – such a person is an idolater – has any inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ and of God.”
- Ephesians 5:5
Your focus should be on good things, not on worldly junk that pulls your heart and mind away from God. The Pastor encourages you to be FREE to think about God. God should be your reason for living.
“Whoever you are around, you are destined to become.”
- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
What is LOVELY
Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach will share with you his concept of lovely. You’ll learn that lovely is not just about looking good or pleasant; it is more about being attractive and pure. As such, he reiterates the power of the mind: think evil and you will attract evil; think about lovely thoughts like God and His love for you and you will attract everything that is good, pleasant, attractive, and pure.
What is of a GOOD REPORT
The Pastor encourages you to carefully choose what or who you believe in. Which report do you want to listen to, God’s or that of an evil report? Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach offers suggestions about this – what you should do to refrain from believing evil reports without verifying facts. Think only of whatever is true.
“Think on whatever is true. Think on whatever is honest and honorable. Think on whatever is right and just. I want you to think on whatever is pure. I want you to think on whatever is lovely. And I want you to think on whatever is a good report.”

- Pastor Thomas A. DeLoach
Money

However, he also stresses that you need to have all the other areas of prosperity first before you can enjoy the benefits of having money. He will also be quick to remind you about the wicked side of having a lot of money – and how you should never fall into this trap.
“God wants us to change our mentality about money.”
